It is with regret we have to announce that the North West Region Road Race Championships, which were due to take place on 1st & 2nd June 2019, have had to be cancelled.
This is due to us being unable to secure sufficient Accredited Marshals to meet the risk assessment requirements. We have tried to find a solution which would be acceptable but unfortunately this has not proved possible.
This has highlighted that there are issues with how our events are currently managed and we have already taken steps to address this going forward.
Please note that we have not yet agreed on an alternative event, however further details will be released by the Region Board should we be able to secure a future date.
