As a consequence of postponing the [2022] World Championships. the ICSF has brought forward the re-arranged staging of the European Championships, from 2023 to 2022. The Championships were originally due to be promoted by the Astley & Tyldesley club in England in 2021, but were postponed, due to the Covid pandemic. The European Championships will now be staged at Astley & Tyldesley, between Friday 29th and Sunday 31st July 2022.
The European Championships have been held on a bi-annual basis, since the first championships were held in the Netherlands in 1994. This will be the first time that the Championships have been held in the North & Scotland Cycle Speedway Region.
