The North West Region has now received an official invitation to send boys and girls teams to the 2020 youth tour of Scotland. Whilst we are happy to enter teams racing under our regional banner; as stated previously the riders selected will be required to fund themselves as this event is not part of the regional events calendar.
A significant number of riders have expressed an interest but can we now request that all interested riders e-mail Tracey Taylor at [email protected]
In the e-mail can riders please outline their three best results from the 2019 road/circuit season. Further to this can each rider write a piece that does not exceed 250 words explaining why they should be considered as part of the NW teams in this event.
The top two riders who apply (based on results in the 2019 National Circuit / Road series) will form part of each team and the other places will be awarded to riders chosen by a committee from the NW regional board and will take account of the views of Joe Malik and the Development Centre Coaches. Priority will be given to second Year Youth A riders.
The closing date for receipt of this information is Friday 3 January 2020. All riders will be notified by 12 January 2020.
